It's been a little while since the last update, but the major news is that our new Accommodation Coach has had a fresh lick of paint - BR Maroon, to be exact! As you can see below, it looks great...
We are now tasked with making the interior just as attractive! So, this weekend (13th/14th April) we are holding a working party to clean the 5 bedrooms, kitchenette, shower room, toilet and lounge ready to install new furniture in advance of wheeling the coach into position.
In particular, we are looking for someone with experience of laying carpet to assist us with the installation of new carpet in the lounge. If you are that person, or know someone who can help, please get in contact with us (society@deanforestrailway.co.uk) - or simply come along on Saturday 13th April!
